Question about research on Florida Tax Deeds

Hello, I am trying to get into purchasing tax deeds on Florida real estate. I know my tax deed will be superior to most other liens, except for potential IRS or govt liens. (Hopefully this is correct!). My question is, for those of you that purchase tax deeds...do you feel comfortable buying after doing your own research and/or hiring a title research company? Or do you prefer using a real estate attorney? With 250+ an hour charges, this seems like it would cut into my profits quickly.
