Was curious if anyone out there has experience buying tax lien certificates and what best way to go about it in Az might be. Pretty safe investment?

    Joshua, I have bought thousands of tax liens. It is not near as easy, profitable or safe as those promoting it claim. 

    The laws vary tremendously from state to state. You really need to know

    • The law and how it affects your risk and return
    • What you are bidding on. Some are worthless pieces of vacant land
    • The true as is value of what you are bidding on. 

    @Jerry K. is the expert here on AZ liens. He has written some terrific detailed blog posts on AZ liens.
