Liens That Survive CA County Tax Auction - - 50% Ownership

There is a property in an upcoming tax auction in CA that is offering an undivided 50% ownership in the property.  I saw in another forum post the way to handle this situation if the other owner(s) won't agree on how to proceed with the property would be to file a partition action or partition lawsuit.

However, my question is if the normal liens that would be wiped out in a County tax auction (deed of trust, mechanics liens, etc) would be wiped out in this situation since only 50% is being auctioned?
