Bought Alabama Tax Deed Vacant Land Whats The Next Step?

i recently purchased a tax deed from the state of alabama years 2011-2019.the land is vacant. what is my next step? do i have to file a quiet title or is rightfully mine? any clear information would be appreciated.first time buyer.

@Chris Hatfield, if you can substantiate that you've been in continuous and exclusive possession for three years, then you can probably quiet title. Sometimes that is hard to do. If you can't do that, you might have to file an ejectment lawsuit and wait another 3 years. A lot depends on what happened to the former owner, and if they died, are there any heirs who might want to make waves.  If you want to give me more details, I can advise you more completely.
