Hello All, Ive read a lot about the 1031 exchange and the live for 2 years and own for 5 years rule. Ive also heard of people using some rehab costs as tax writeoffs? But other than those few laws I've learned from other books, I'm having a hard time finding information on real estate and taxes. Can any of you recommend books I could read to learn more about how to use taxes to your advantage in real estate? Thanks! - Robb

Check out the book that @Amanda Han wrote for Bigger Pockets. Not sure if it is updated for the tax reform, but it should give you some basic guidance.
