Husband wants off the Mortgage
Hello all, hope all is well.
Divorcing couple. Wife wants to borrow $50,000 to pay off mortgage and get her huband's name off the Deed. He is willing to sign off if mortagage gets paid off so he is no longer on the hook.
House value $130,000
She can afford to repay $1,000 per month
What do you guys suggest as a solution here?
Thanks

So she has to refinance $50000 so it sounds. She can get a non citizen loan either with ITEN if she has one or with a lender who will lend to intl clients. Since it sounds like she has about 60pct equity that should work. Are you saying husband doesn't want any equity and just willing to walk away if his name off the loan?
