Buy tax delinquent property

A property is coming up for sale and the owners have passed and only son never got deed in his name e has passed which leaves 3 children left and the will has not been probated. If I buy this property, will I own it and no one has lived there for 7 months now.

What state are you in? Every state has different laws. Some are tax lien states, some are deed, and a few are hybrid states.
