Maryland Debt Collection License To Purchase Notes

Although I no longer live there, I was born and raised in Maryland. Given my familiarity, I'd love to purchase Maryland notes.

It would be nice to hear from other NPN investors who are active in the state. I'm especially interested in the dreaded topic of licensing requirements. The hope would be that so long as my Servicer is licensed, I wouldn't need to be. I hear different advice about that, which is why I'd love to connect with someone actively investing in Maryland.

I'm looking for MD Attorney recommendations as well.
