Resources For Notes Education

Okay brain trust....Where do I find the most helpful and thorough (online or other) training on buying seller-financed notes? I have seen the name Eddie Speed tossed around and I have read some of John Behle's articles. I also took a 2-day course taught by Jeff Armstrong and I WRITE wrap notes frequently.

I also started reading through Bill Mencarow's course that he mails to you for free, but lost interest. It certainly wasn't very engaging and I didn't like all of the religious stuff mixed in with the material.

What online resources did you find the most useful in your note studies? If your local REIA meetings don't have seasoned note investors how do you go about finding people to educate you on local customs and pitfalls with local laws?

Specifically, I am looking to learn more about factors that influence the discount rates that note buyers pay for notes and how they arrive at that discount. ITVs, partials, seasoning, strategies to turn bad notes into good ones, etc.

Your feedback and guidance is appreciated. :D
