Hi BP Community!

I am looking at taking a 3 day class from Fortris for around $1,400 on how to invest in tax liens around the country. I was wondering if anyone has taken the classes or knows if the classes are a good investment?

I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks!

Ryan

I firmly believe in paying for my education. There is no better place to invest than myself.

That said much investor education is often so poorly done it is a rip off. It is also often simply a sales pitch for ever more expensive education.  Tax sale trainers also are often out to sell either some type of tax sale software or sell you liens.

I have seen one of them, from Fortris, speak for an hour or so but I couldn't tell in that short a presentation whether they were legit. Search here as I think they have been talked about before

I will say some of their MD tax sale info is incorrect and some out of date by at least 10 years.

Tax sale laws and procedures are very state specific.  You may not get enough info about the specific state you want to bid in.
