Fees To Assess When Barring Right Of Redemption After Tax Sale
Hi!! I purchased a tax deed in Georgia on August 2015. Yesterday I started the process to bar the right of redemption. I know that I cannot charge the owner any rents for the first 12 months, but am wondering if I can charge rent from September 2016- present, since they did not redeem during the first twelve months. They are still living in the property.
