No State Income Tax On My Properties In Texas Nor Tennessee
I already knew that there is no state income in Texas because I have been investing there since 06. I am now doing my tax returns. It was a nice surprise that in Tennessee, there is no state tax on my rental income. In short, less paperwork. Thank you Tennessee!

Texas may not have state income tax, but watch out for our property taxes! Wish they didn't follow the "everything's bigger in Texas" adage.
