New to purchasing/referring notes

Hi all,

I am currently in the Madison, WI area still attending school (go badgers) and have recently began reading about note purchasing and referring. Due to my lack of funds the referral path seems to be the only option for now. I've been doing some reading on here and I know it takes a lot of time and work to build connections with various buyers and sellers of notes, but I was wondering if I could get some help on where I could start building my own network. Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated.
