Hello- I would like to learn more about tax liens investing.. Any help would be appreciated.

@Account Closed California is a tax deed state and I don't believe they sell any tax liens. However you can certainly invest out of state for tax liens. The laws regarding tax sales vary considerably from state to state so it is important to know the rules where you are investing.
In general when you buy a tax lien you get no ownership in the property just a lien against the property. When the owner pay the taxes you get the taxes plus interest. If the owner does not pay (redeem) the taxes after a certain period, you can start a foreclosure action. If the foreclosure is completed then you own the property free and clear and wipe out any other mortgages or liens.
However like I said the rules and laws vary from state to state and sometimes from county to county.
