Auction.com, Is this a note?

I was looking at a property on auction.com and was curious about some of the details surrounding it. I noticed part of the description stated " This property will be conveyed vial an Assignment of Interest in Sheriff's Deed and Quit Claim Deed (Michigan) and an Assignment of the Sheriff's Certificate (Minnesota).". Does this sound like it is indeed a note?

I am not extremely familiar with notes, but would still like to go through with acquiring this property. Also I am not sure how it would affect things, but the mortgagor actually passed away recently.

Thoughts?
