Next steps after winning a tax deed in an auction
Hello all,
Looking for some mentorship and guidance in this arena. What are the steps that need to be followed after winning a bid in a Texas? (Harris county)
- do yo notify the owner and the bank immediately or after receiving the deed (4-6 weeks later)
- if the property is currently rented, do you have the right to start receiving rent from the tenants right away? (What is the best way of finding who the tenants are and how should they be notified)
- is there anything else the winning bidder needs to go right away while waiting for the deed?
thank you!
