Creating property companies in Ohio?

Silun Wang

I'm an out of state investor thinking about creating few LLCs to hold property in Ohio.
My home state is Colorado.
I was wondering if I would get double taxed? How to avoid it? and are there any benefits of creating the company in Ohio, a easy process online perhaps?

Thanks!!

You can create your LLC in any state you choose, does not need to be specifically in Ohio. However if you are buying property there with the intent of renting it out, you will need to get a registered agent in Ohio.

I would talk with an accountant on the double taxing subject just to be sure. I do know that it's a pretty simple process to start and LLC in Ohio. Can be done all online and just $99!

If you have more questions on how I don't mind helping out
