Washington DC Condo Foreclosure

In the learn something new everyday. Speaking with an attorney today regarding condo foreclosures in DC and if they have a super lien position, the attorney noted a recent case that I found interesting.

If the association publishes the foreclosure sale subject to the first position lien then the first position lien (note holder), is still valid. If they publish the sale as a full foreclosure the first position lien is wiped out in that instance (so they better bid).
