Question regarding current year open taxes
I recently attended a NJ tax lien sale where a property had a sewer lien listed at $55.00 (unpaid 2012). A premium of several thousand dollars was bid. After the sale, I overheard that the property had unpaid property taxes for 2013. I know you can go to the tax office and ask for information about a specific property, but how do you get 2013 info prior to a tax sale where they may be a hundred properties listed? The town does not post open current taxes on line.
Thanks for you help.
