Investors for Detroit property Woodbridge

Eric Warren
Posted

Hi all,

I'm just looking at the future here. I am soon to inherit my childhood home in the Woodbridge/Midtown area in Detroit. It's a big old house and once my grandma passes on (she's not doing too well) it will likely fall on me. As with most big old houses it needs A LOT OF WORK! It is a duplex and neither side has been updated since the 70's. My mom and sister don't have the capital for it and I surely don't by myself. It will take a lot of money up front for the renovations; nearly a complete gut job on both sides. Is this something real estate investors do or are interested in?
