General Contractor/Architect Request - Savin Hill 3- Family

Hi Boston BP,

I've recently put a Savin Hill 3-family triple decker under agreement that will need a substantial renovation prior to occupancy, including complete HVAC, electrical, and plumbing upgrades, as well as new kitchens & baths. I have two reputable GC's that are scheduled to price the project (one who already budgeted it prior to my signing P&S) but I would like to have a third GC take a look at it. Could anyone who knows a GC that they would recommend for a project like this please let me know? GC's with experience in Boston specifically and/or relationships with the folks at ISD would be a huge plus.

If stamped architectural plans are deemed to be required for my long-form construction permit at ISD, I would also greatly appreciate it if anyone could recommend an architect or structural engineer that might be appropriate for this type of work. Based on an abbreviated cost/benefit analysis, I am leaning toward keeping the layouts as-is and avoiding relocating structural/load bearing walls but I would be willing to engage an architect/engineer and invest a little money into better understanding what would be required if I were to make more significant changes to the current layout.

Thanks so much!

Kevin
