New Investor Introduction

Hey everyone. Im a new investor in the Baltimore area. mid 30s, father, veteran, police officer by day, and aspiring real estate mogul by night. Im looking to make contacts with folks in the industry.  I am eager and knowledgeable on most aspects of real estate investing.  Its time for me to buckle down, start making contacts, and get my first property under my belt.  I would love to get recommendations on contractors that can assist with rehabs.  If there is one area that I am lacking, its the ability to go into a home and accurately estimate the rehab budget.  I know that this skill will come over time, but I really need training wheels for my first few deals.  I appreciate the time and I look forward to any replies or messages in response to this post!

In terms of contractors, I have used both Pikesville Remodeling (https://www.pikesvilleremodeli...) and Highview Construction Company (http://highviewconstruction.co...) for small projects. I know that they are capable of full scale renovations as well.
