Rentals in Station North/Greenmount West

Hello everyone,

I'm a new member here, and am only starting to learn about real estate investment. I've never owned property before. I'm looking at working in Baltimore/DC at some point soon, and was interested in acquiring property in Station North/Greenmount West, ideally a multi-bed row house under an FHA loan, with the desire of finding roommates to fill the remaining rooms. Does anyone have any experience in these neighborhoods, or in the FHA loan route specifically? And could anyone comment on how difficult it would be to find roommates, tenants, etc., in this area?

Additionally, I noticed quite a few recent renovations for sale at Greenmount near the Penn Line's tracks, and the prices seem quite reasonable. Does anyone have any experience, tips, etc., for recently renovated rows like those?

I'm also interested in networking with anyone else letting in the Baltimore and DC area, and would love to learn anything anyone might have to share.
