An email about Balto city rental inspections

I just had this  sent to me about rental inspections in Balto city  .  I deleted the company name

Dear <<First Name>>,As of December 31, 2018, the new Baltimore City rental property inspection laws are in place and being enforced. For those who have a one or two-unit property, but have not yet received an inspection, please remember to give us a call or an email so we can get you scheduled. If you are the landlord of a multi-family property or a property manager of a multi-family property, you might not have had your inspection completed yet thanks to a waiver allowing those with multi-family properties to wait out the remainder of their current license before needing a rental inspection.

When Do You Need to Have Your Inspection Completed?

If your multi-family dwelling license expired after December 31, 2018, you are required to get a third-party rental property inspection and complete the online registration process before your license expires. The renewed license, providing the inspection requirements are completed successfully before the expiration date on the current license, will expire after 2 years.

What If My Multi-Family Dwelling Has Multiple Units? How Many Units Will Be need to be tested?

If your buildings have over 9 units inside, you will only need to have a random sample of your units inspected. These units will be chosen at random. How many units will be inspected? For the full table, click

Sincerely,
