The appliances manufacturer will invest $475 million in products, manufacturing and distribution, as well as create more than 1,000 new jobs. The company plans to invest more than $200 million of that in Louisville and create roughly 400 new jobs locally.

“We’re growing,” Nolan said in June. “We feel good about the business.”

According to the China Financial Weekly, GEA’s net income in China has increased 80 percent since Haier acquired the company, and its revenue increased 11 percent during the first half of this year.

According to: https://thinkkentucky.com/kyedc/pdfs/100jobs.pdf adding just 270 manufacturing jobs to should add nearly $30 million value added.

This knowledge should make a compelling case for investing in Louisville, as if we need more reasons!
