Estimating Rental Prices

What are some ways you guys estimate rental prices. I looked on Zillow and Craiglist for my area and have developed an average off of that, but I get this nagging feeling that I'm missing all the numbers of properties that have already been rented out.

The more sources you check the better (i.e. Craigslist, Zillow, Rentometer, local property management company, etc).
