Released tax lien on auction home

I have a few questions to anyone that has bought a house at auction before in Jefferson county.

I am looking at a house that is coming up to auction fairly soon, I live fairly close to this house so i know what kind of condition it is in. (Help i'm a hoarder, kind of deal) When i look at the county's website for delinquent taxes (taxmaster.com) it has 10 entries going back to 2004, All of these were bought by a few different Tax Lien LLC's and all say released but one.

My first question is, will the tax liens that these companies have bought be nullified by the commissioner sale auction or since they were originally a tax lien, would they follow the house even after the auction?  If they get wiped out does that also apply for the year that doesn't say released?

Next, How is the starting bid determined?  The amount to be raised on the handbill exceeds the price of the house.  The plaintiff is one of the LLCs that bought up some of the tax liens and not a bank.  but, am i wasting my time looking at this because the starting bid on the house will be way more then i can feasibly make money on?

If anyone has any familiarity with the auction process in this area, any answers would be awesome.

Also, Hello to anyone from the area, i am just starting and have been trying to learn as much as i can here, so i hope to be more active.
