Alternatives to brick veneer on chimney?

Hey team,

Currently working on a rehab and I had no idea the cost to put a veneer brick layer on a chimney was so expensive! Does anyone have any alternative ideas to resurface this chimney? I was just trying to do something simple like putting this around the entire stack.
