NEWBIE TO REAL ESTATE AND BP

Hi, my name is Christopher Middleton, I live in New York and this is my first day on BP. I work as a Federal Officer and have absolutely no real estate experience, unless watching HGTV counts! I would love to get into flipping homes to build a nest egg towards retirement. I have read the beginners guide and am looking for Hard Money Lenders in the area. I will be meeting with a bank Assets Manager tomorrow to get the ball rolling and see if I can get a line on foreclosed property. IF any has any tips or has dealt with an Assets Manager or has another line of access to foreclosed property please don't hesitate to share.
