Hardwood flooring pro tips?

Joseph Martinez
Posted

Hello! I'm just in the planning stages for a whole house rehab. Planning to do about 1,600 sq ft of engineered hardwood.

Do you have any tips for cutting costs when it comes to installing engineered hardwood floor?

Should I go with Floor and Decor / Lumber Liquidators or try to use another source? Is this something to DIY or is that going to be a terrible idea? (I have done drywall, skim-coating, electrical, plumbing, hanging doors and windows, and laid LVP flooring previously.)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
