Got a call last night at 9 pm form my duplex . " We have no water "  Now this is a well , so i went over this morning at 8 am and checked the pressure switch , the breaker and went to the well head to check for current . All good . This tells me it is the pump . So i made some phone calls to well guys and everyone was booked thru next week .  So I went to the supply house and got a pump , fittings and clamps . I called another contractor buddy because I needed 2 more bodies to pull the pump . ( 150 ft of pipe with a 15 lb pump at the bottom ) . All in was 2 hours , $450 in parts and I took everybody to lunch .  The well guys wanted $1800 which is fair . But I couldnt let the tenants go a week without water .
