Where to find a reno or rehab company that know section 8 specs

I have a group of Canadian investors who buy sfh and renovate them specifically getting them qualified and into the section 8 program. In the past we've been doing this in Phoenix but lately things have slowed down and we are looking for other areas to invest in.

In general the rehabs require low maintience upgrades and concentrate on durability and we aim to avoid any unecessary upgrades that are not considered in rent calculations by HUD/S8.

If anyone knows a reno/rehab team that has knowledge or has worked with section 8 developments in the past that would be great. We are looking to eventually build a team to consistently work with in the future.

current cities we are interested in are :

Indianapolous (IN), Memphis,Columbus (Ohio)

I have really enjoyed the information in this forum and would appreciate any suggestions in finding a team to start in a generally unknown area . Happy deal hunting everyone.
