Full bath v half and laundry
We currently on a three bedroom with an office New Englander in coastal Maine. There is only one bathroom. it is on the first floor next to the kitchen. We are planning to turn the second-floor office into a full bathroom. The question is, if I take the tub out of the downstairs bathroom so that it is only a half and replace that with the laundry, will it affect my resale value positively or negatively. There is already laundry in the basement but it seems like the first floor laundry is highly desirable these days.
