Brick VS Hardie Siding

Posted

I’m remodeling my entire house and it’s going to become a rental property in the future but I’m having a real hard time deciding what to put on the outside. I’m in the process of getting bids on brick vs hardie. A couple questions I have is how much more does brick bring value to a house than hardy and is it worth it from a selling or renting prospective to go one way or the other? The house is in a small circle that were built back in 1960s typically 1200 square foot 3 bedrooms. If I brick it it will be the only house in there that is. It’s a good Neighborhood and they are building a new school about two blocks away.
