Are there opportunities to flip during covid in California? Are there first time homebuyers buying still or are the buying rate of homes going up due to investors?

There are ALWAYS opportunities to flip. I don't care where you live or what is going on. As long as you city doesn't get nuked, you are ok.

The trick, is finding the right property to flip.  That will require a lot of looking around.  You are looking for marriage material, not just a date. Be picky, don't take the first thing you find.

Let the math guide you.  Get real estimates from several contractors and do the research to find your after repaired value BEFORE you get involved with a property.

You are looking for a neglected property in a good area.  You might want to target market to people who bought a house 40+ years ago.
