I'm newer to BP and have read through several threads and I have pieced some information together here and there.

Can someone recommend a general contractor to perform a complete remodel of a 1959 built ranch. 3 br / 3 bth with 2400 sqft on a full finished basement. The home has not been occupied for 2+ years. Some mold is present but unsure of asbestos behind dry wall or in basement.

We're looking to remodel kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, and add a garage plus a deck.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

@D Beard Our local facebook investor pages are fraught with tales of contractors gone bad. Some were referred by investors on those sites who turned out to be friends of the contractor. I don't know how you'd find a few gc's to interview but the permit office lists permits and the contractor is named and I bet you could ask a plumber or electrician who does rehab type work who they'd hire for their mom's house.
