Kitchen Cabinet Renewal/Refresh
Hello,
I have a set of kitchen cabinets that look dull and old. I was hoping to get a company to "refresh" them, but I got a quote from a local company offering "Cabinet Renewal" for $1,200 and I'm having a hard time justifying this cost, so I'm considering DIYing it.
Has anybody made older cabinets look newer? I'm not 100% sure on terminology, but I'm pretty sure all I want is for them to be cleaned, sanded a little, and get a fresh coat of lacquer. (Feel free to correct me if that doesn't sound right)
Any links or guidance would be immensely appreciated.
