Newb Q - Foundation for Detached Garage [Michigan]

Posted

I'm looking to do my first flip at a property that has some foundation issues with the detached garage. It has obviously sunk, likely due to drainage issues that seems to be fixed by the owner now. The wall does have a slight lean, but I believe it is structurally sound. Everything else with the property is relatively straight forward - new kitchen, new bathroom, refinish floors, and paint.

My question is whether I'll need to fix the foundation issues with the garage in order to pass an FHA inspection, especially since it's not part of the main 'structure'.

I'd appreciate any advice that can be offered!
