Junior liens at Sheriff Sale
I just got my title search back for the seriff sale we were going to tomorrow! So last minute, I know. Anyway, the lien that is foreclosing is the most junior loan. It appears the house still has some of the original mortgage left as well as too other "mortgage/deed of trusts". Also among this is a tax lien which I was prepared to pay for and 2 other judgements against the property. If we won at sheriff sale am I expected to pay off the first mortgage or do they have the opportunity to take the house back from us? I have a feeling going for this house will be a bad bargain.
