DIY for descaling whole house plumbing

Hi,

I am looking for ways to descale whole house plumbing to get better water pressure on tabs throughout the house.

A lot of DIY videos I saw talks about pouring about 2 gallons of vinegar in the water heater and leaving them in the pipes overnight before flushing the next morning. That sounds pretty straight forward, however what is the easiest way to do this with tankless water heater?
