Hello everybody!

I am analyzing a property that has been completely gutted. New siding, new roof and updated windows. Looks about ready to start getting some dry wall up and floors laid. My question is, has anybody ever had any experience dealing with properties that the investor gave up during rehab. If so, what problems occurred and also what success stories do you have from finding properties like this.

Thank you!

Yes I have taken over rehabs and new construction commercial and residential in various stages of completion. You need to know what you're doing and have a qualified GC complete the work for you if you are not a contractor. The key is to be able to asses any effective workmanship or materials and accurately estimate the costs to complete.
