Asbestos in drywall materials
Just recently purchased a 1956 home and we’re rehabbing it. I’m going to remove a wall between the kitchen and dining room. I cut a hole in the drywall and found that there are two layers, the inside layer has wallpaper on it so I’m assuming it’s original. Do I need to worry about asbestos when removing drywall like this? If so, any suggestions on how I should handle it? I have a p100 mask I was planning on using.
