Newbie - Where do I start?
Hello! I am very new to all of this. I’ve been going back and forth with investing for a while, only holding off because I am still a bit confused with everything. I have been listening to the bigger pockets podcast and reading as much as I can. My plan is to do some flips and eventually some rentals with my significant other. Problem is - we have no idea where to even start. Any basic tips? Thank you!

First step is to study and learn your market down to the neighborhood, block and street. Real estate is hyper local. This will help you identify the hot areas and best price points for flipping and renting. You want to study what other investors and the builders are doing so you know what colors, features, styes etc are popular in your area. next is to learn how to get deals direct from the sellers and the MLS as well. You need to establish relationships with realtors, other investors and contractors and learn from them.
