Stone Foundation Mortar Repair
I recently purchased a duplex in St. Louis and need to repair some of the mortar in the basement. Some of the old mortar is crumbling and there are spots with moisture residue (photos attached below). The foundation is stone and the home is around 100 years old. Is there any particular mortar I need to use for a stone foundation? Any recommendations for how to tackle this project? Thanks in advance for any advice.
