N95 Respirators: Need to talk to a YouTube content creator

Rather than feeling helpless about this, I want to get a video online about ways that renovators and contractors use to extend the life of disposal N95 paper respirators. People who really don't know squat about how respirators work are coming up with 3D printing designs, sewing masks out of furnace filter paper, trying to find substitutes for the 3M N95 models 1860 (medical) and 8210 (general use) disposable paper masks. Some of them are going far off the deep end, with coffee filter and toilet paper makeshift mask designs. That's going to kill people in this pandemic.

My wife is a health care worker. A registered nurse actually told her to slip a pantiliner into her surgical mask to increase its protection. A buddy of mine is an anesthesiologist in Brazil. He was given ONE disposable N95 respirator in a plastic box with holes in it and told to make it last for the duration. And everyone knows the crazy is really just getting warmed up now.

The medical profession really knows very little about the practical use of respirators. The people who really know the most are us: workers, tradesmen, and veteran DIYers who have spent more time in these things under lousy conditions than anyone else.

I have a number of tested ideas on how to increase the life of paper N95 respirators and how to teach people about how reusable respirators work, as well as how to hack filter designs for 3M reusable respirators and knock-off designs readily available through aliexpress.com, ebay, other websites.

I want to to find a YouTube content creator who can turn those ideas into clear instructional material with good video editing, quality close-ups, and perhaps animation. I would like to give my ideas away to this person. I can promise you a good online conversation that will help you stay safer personally and offer you an excellent chance of posting a viral video with worldwide appeal.

Please contact me if you're that guy. Bigger Pockets video editing team, if you are those guys, I'm ready when you are.
