Advise on where to invest...

Good morning everyone,

I hope everyone is doing ok during all of this.

Little backstory...

So, we had our family home as a rental but it was getting to be too much of a hassle to try to maintain with it being 500 miles away. The renters moved out, I used up all my vacation time and I went out there and in about 6-8 weeks of 14 hour days I completely renovated the home on my own. I sold it for 10k above asking and came out with 130k after paying all fees and the remaining loan.

I live in San Diego...one of the most expensive markets anywhere so I can’t do much here with only 130k, so I was considering venturing out to Menifee or Murietta since it’s not that far and prices are still relatively low. I’d like to flip homes as my full time gig one day but not 100% on how to start.

Is this a good idea? Anyone know much about those cities? Should I wait? Any suggestions on another city?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Please take care of yourselves and your family.

-Miguel
