New to real estate and looking for some guidance

I’m brand new to the Las Vegas area and would like to get started in rehabs. I’ve read a number of books and have done a lot of research and I still feel a little iffy about how it all works.

My wife is in the process of getting her RE License here in Vegas. This, I’m sure, will help us in this venture to become RE Investors.

We are hoping to network and meet some mentors in the greater Las Vegas area.

yes a real estate license will be extremely valuable and beneficial when it comes to Flipping Houses. You can capture the commission on the buy side and save it on the sale side, you’ll have have mls access and you can offer sellers multiple options when marketing to them. The real key to success flipping houses is to know your market intimately. Once you understand values and what is selling where it’s just a matter of talking to enough motivated sellers.
