Failures with partner buys

Hello everyone,

This is my first post and I am looking for insight and mistakes that you may have seen when paying properties with friends/group.

Short back story. I have listen and read on BP before but never posted. I have been the Army for 18 years and business has been busy lately. So I have taken a pause. I have flipped 1 house and currently have 1 rental.

I have pondered the idea of starting a group/joining a group on individuals that buy rental properties. Starting a group is more likely because the groups are usually close and adding someone new cuts into everyone’s profits. So, let me hear all of your thoughts on this. The good, the bad, and the don’t do it’s.

Thanks for your time.
