This is not a problem. The way I would go is call the installer of the top, send them pictures and ask them to fix it. They will probably charge you for them to come out but repair will be fast ad they will use same stuff they use on the miters. They will clean it and make sure its nice and smooth. This should not be abig deal for them at all
