Hi all. I am looking to fund a fix and flip deal. My home is currently paid off and has about 400k of equity. Should I use it to fund deals or is this a bad idea?

@Keith Martinez

Never ever.

My home has been paid for since it was built in 1992. Never had a mortgage, never will. I have been in the REI business for almost 20 years and have always made it stand on its own. Very little of my own money invested.
